Quick answer

To send a text message from the diary, double-click the client appointment, click Send SMS, type your message and click Confirm.

Before you start

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Open the Salon Manager diary.
  2. Find the client you want to send a text message to.
  3. Double-click the client appointment.
  4. When the appointment menu appears, click Send SMS on the right-hand side.
  5. Type your message into the message box.
  6. Review the character count and SMS credit cost shown on screen.
  7. When you are happy with the message, click Confirm.
  8. The text message will be sent to the client.

Tips

Troubleshooting

The Send SMS button is not visible

Check your user permissions and whether SMS messaging is enabled for your salon.

The message costs more credits than expected

Longer messages may use more SMS credits. Shorten the message if needed.

The client did not receive the message

Check the client mobile number and confirm that the message was sent successfully.
