Hiding team members

Use this guide to hide booked-out team members from the diary. This can make the diary easier to read on days when some team members are unavailable.

Quick answer

To hide booked-out team members, open diary settings, go to Display Settings, switch on Hide Booked Out Team Members and click Save.

Before you start

• Permission to update display settings

Step-by-step instructions

1. Open the Salon Manager diary.
2. Click the settings cog on the left-hand side.
3. When the settings menu appears, go to Display Settings at the bottom left.
4. Find the option to hide booked-out team members.
5. Turn the slider on.
6. Click Save.
7. Booked-out team members will be hidden from the day column in the diary.

Tips

• Use this setting to reduce clutter in the diary.
• If a team member is not visible, check whether they are booked out and whether this setting is enabled.
• Combine this with accurate rostering so the diary display stays useful.

Troubleshooting

A team member has disappeared from the diary

Check whether Hide Booked Out Team Members is turned on and whether that team member is booked out.

Booked-out team members are still visible

Reopen Display Settings, check the slider is on and click Save.

I want to show everyone again

Turn the slider off in Display Settings and save the change.
