Use this guide when you need to change the service on an existing appointment in the Salon Manager diary. Editing appointments helps keep your diary accurate when a client changes their service or booking requirements.

Step-by-step instructions
Open the diary and find the appointment you want to edit.
Double-click the appointment to open the appointment menu.
On the left-hand side, click Edit Booking.
The appointment builder will open. It may show the client’s suggested services by default.
Click Or view all services if you need to see the full service list.
Select the new service you want to use. The previous service will be crossed out and the new service will be added.
Review the updated booking details.
Click Save Booking.
Check the diary to confirm the appointment has updated correctly.
Tips
Check the appointment duration after changing a service, as some services may take longer or shorter than the original booking.
If the appointment needs to move to a different time, use the Moving appointments guide instead of only changing the service.
If the client is adding another service rather than replacing one, make sure the final appointment still has enough time in the diary.
Troubleshooting
The service I need is not shown
Click Or view all services. If it still is not shown, check your service setup.
The appointment time no longer fits
Resize the appointment or move it to a more suitable time.
I changed the wrong appointment
Open the appointment again and correct the service details, or speak to a manager if you are unsure what was changed.
