Use this guide to create a class in the Salon Manager diary. Classes can be configured with tutor details, columns, price level, service skills, availability and online booking settings.

Step-by-step instructions
Open the Salon Manager diary.
Click the settings cog on the left-hand side.
In the settings menu, click Classes on the left-hand side.
Review the list of existing classes.
Click Add New Class at the top right.
Enter the class name.
Enter the tutor name.
Choose how many columns you want.
Name the column.
Choose the price level.
Select the service skills.
If the class should only run on specific dates, use the date slider and set the dates. Leaving this unticked keeps the class open indefinitely.
Set the class opening times if they should differ from normal opening hours.
Select the days the class is open. Green means the class is available on that day; red means it is closed.
Choose whether to allow online booking if required.
When you are happy with the settings, click Confirm.
Salon Manager will create the class with the columns ready to use.
Tips
Check class dates and times carefully before confirming.
Only allow online booking if the class should be bookable by clients online.
Use clear class and column names so the team can identify them in the diary.
Troubleshooting
The class is available on the wrong days
Reopen the class settings and check the day colours. Green means available; red means closed.
The class hours are wrong
Check whether specific class hours were set or whether the class is following regular opening hours.
Clients cannot book the class online
Check the online booking option for the class.
