Use this guide when an appointment needs to be removed from the diary. Salon Manager lets you choose whether the appointment is being cancelled for the client or deleted because it was created by mistake.

Step-by-step instructions
Open the diary and find the appointment you want to remove.
Double-click the appointment to open the appointment menu.
Click Remove on the left-hand side.
Choose whether you are cancelling the appointment for the client or deleting it because of an administrative error.
Select Bookings and Charges at the bottom right.
Choose whether to remove all appointments for the client or only this individual appointment.
Click Confirmation at the bottom right.
Review the confirmation screen.
If everything is correct, click Cancel the appointment.
Check that the appointment has been removed from the diary.
Tips
Use cancellation when the client no longer needs the appointment.
Use administrative error only when the booking was created incorrectly and should not remain as a normal cancellation.
Do not delete a missed appointment if you need to keep a no-show record; use Mark appointment as no-show instead.

I am unsure which removal option to choose
Use cancellation for a genuine cancelled booking. Use administrative error when the appointment was entered incorrectly.
I only want to remove one appointment
Choose the option to remove only this individual appointment, not all appointments for the client.
The appointment is still visible
Refresh or reopen the diary and check the correct date and team member column.
