Use this guide to create and configure rooms in Salon Manager. This is useful when you need to book services into a specific room, treatment space or bookable resource.
To create a room, open the Salon Manager diary, click the settings cog on the left-hand side, select Rooms, click Add New Room, enter the room name and description, then click Confirm.
I cannot see Rooms in the settings menu
Check that you have opened the settings cog from the diary and that your user permissions allow access to room settings.
I cannot add a new room
Check that you have permission to edit settings. If you can view rooms but cannot add one, ask a manager or administrator to check your access.
The room has been created but I cannot book into it
Check that the room has been added correctly and that any related service, appointment book or booking settings are configured for the way your salon uses rooms.
I entered the wrong room name or description
Return to the Rooms settings area and check whether the room details can be edited. If you are unsure, ask a manager before changing room settings.
A room is a bookable space or resource that can be used for services, treatments, consultations or other appointments that need a specific location.
Create a room when your salon, clinic or spa needs to manage appointments against a specific space, such as a treatment room, consultation room or specialist service room.
Yes. Existing rooms are shown in the Rooms area, and you can add another room by selecting Add New Room.
You need a room name and a description. The name should be clear enough for your team to recognise when managing bookings.
Room setup is usually managed by users with access to settings. If you cannot create or edit rooms, ask a manager or administrator to check your permissions.
