To configure automatic deletion for inactive clients in Salon Manager, open the client screen, click the settings cog on the left-hand side, turn on Automatically delete inactive clients, enter the number of years of inactivity before deletion, and click Save Settings.

Awareness that this setting will automatically delete inactive client data once enabled
Open Salon Manager.
Go to the client screen.
Click the settings cog on the left-hand side.
When the settings menu appears, find the first option at the top: Automatically delete inactive client data.
Click the slider to enable automatic deletion.
Enter the number of years of inactivity required before a client is deleted.
Review the setting to make sure the number of years is correct.
When you are happy with the settings, click Save Settings at the bottom right.
Salon Manager will now automatically delete clients after the selected number of years of inactivity.
Choose the inactivity period carefully before saving.
Make sure the setting is enabled with the slider, not just filled in with a number of years.
Review your salon’s data retention process before turning on automatic deletion.
Only enable this setting if you are sure inactive client records should be deleted automatically.
The settings cog is not visible
Check that you are on the client screen and that your user account has permission to access settings.
The automatic deletion option is not visible
Open the settings menu from the client screen and look for the first option at the top, called Automatically delete inactive client data.
The setting did not save
Make sure you clicked Save Settings at the bottom right after turning on the slider and entering the number of years.
Clients are not being deleted automatically
Check that the slider is switched on and that the inactivity period has been set correctly.
Can Salon Manager automatically delete inactive clients?
Yes. You can enable Automatically delete inactive client data from the client settings screen.
Where is the automatic deletion setting?
It is the first option at the top of the settings menu accessed from the client screen.
Can I choose when inactive clients are deleted?
Yes. You can set the number of years of inactivity before deletion.
Do I need to save the setting?
Yes. After enabling the slider and setting the number of years, click Save Settings.
