The complete timeline
1993
Computill was released in 1993 as an installed Windows application. It helped salons move away from manual processes and begin managing appointments, clients and business activity digitally.
This was the beginning of a long-term commitment to building software specifically for the salon and beauty industry.
1999
iSalon became the next major generation of the platform. It remained an installed Windows application but introduced more advanced and connected ways to manage appointments, clients, communications and business operations.
It became a familiar platform for independent salons, beauty businesses, groups and colleges.
2023
Salon Manager brought the experience and industry knowledge developed through Computill and iSalon into a modern cloud-based SaaS platform.
It is designed for modern salons, spas, clinics, barbershops, colleges and groups that need easier access, regular updates and connected business tools.
Innovation throughout the iSalon years
Over time, iSalon introduced and supported technologies that changed how salon businesses communicated, accepted bookings and managed multiple locations.
