Artificial Intelligence, Real Frustration
What It Tries to Do
-
Overstuffed with features — but few that truly deliver: Salon Intelligence looks impressive on paper — online booking, loyalty, dashboards, stock control, marketing… But in practice, many of these tools feel half-baked, clunky, or disconnected. It’s a bloated toolbox — without the polish or precision.
-
Support — if you catch them on a good day: Some users report friendly help during setup… others say they were left chasing responses for weeks. Inconsistent at best, frustrating at worst — and certainly not what you’d expect for a premium-priced system.
-
Onboarding that’s “fine”… if your expectations are low: A few salons have managed to migrate over without major drama — but “smooth” is generous. More often, setup is confusing, requires back-and-forth, and leaves teams unsure how to actually use what they’ve just paid for.
Where It Really Falls Apart:
-
Sluggish and unreliable: Frequent complaints of the system freezing or lagging — especially when it’s needed most. Some salons resort to running it on two devices just to keep things moving. One summed it up bluntly: “Overpriced for what it is.”
-
Poor mobile usability: The so-called “hub” for mobile is awkward and limited. There’s still no proper app — a serious flaw for any modern salon on the go.
-
Bugs that break trust: Prices and services have disappeared without warning for some users. Staff targets exist, but have been described as pointless — “they haven’t moved us forward at all.”
-
Support? Hit and miss: While some praise the team, others report major issues during setup, missed follow-ups, and being left to figure things out alone.
